Following the decommissioning of the Black Hawk A, much of that ship's crew is transferred throughout Starfleet's forces in the Gamma Quadrant. Captain Geisler and a select few of his command staff are reassigned to a new vessel, an uprated Akira-class that would continue the Black Hawk's tortured legacy. |
