The Ourean wolf is a mammal. They have four legs, with a long, strong and agile tail, much like the wolves of Earth.
They have six eyes. Their eyesight is astonishing, and they can see far further than most creatures Starfleet had ever encountered.
Their ears are short, and stay perked up almost all of the time.
Their skin is course, thick and strong. It's covered long, wavy hairs.
Their fur colors vary, though it fades with age.
The males fur are usually very vibrant than their female counterpart. The females tend to stay with their pups, though only till the pups are a year or so old.
They are very pack centric, and will always bring their prey back to their dens in order for the entire pack to eat, and maintain its strength.
